Do you agree or disagree that high school students should be allowed to choose the courses that they want to study.

I think that this question is very difficult and complicated. I will expect your wise solution.

Hi Window,
It is a complex situation. I think that society makes teens too dependant on adult supervision when, really, they are old enough to think for themselves. 100 years ago, they would already have had their own families but now we say that they should follow our directions without question. I think that students should have more control over their academic studies but that there should be academic advisors in the schools to provide important information about the choices.

Hi, Window!
I think giving students rights to choose their own courses is helpful for both students and teachers. If they choose classes by themselves, they will be much more responsible for their decisions. So, they will be involved in the class and easily get into studying for finding out what they've expected in the class. I hope our students become independent and responsible in their lives.

Hi, Window.
Everything has pros and cons.
In my opinion, they have some mandatory subjects and then they choose some subject that they want to learn. As you know, the students in that age don't want to study, so we teachers ask them to force to study.

Hi, Window.
I think it's just a good idea. But it has many problems. One problem is that it need more teachers and more classrooms. Some day it will be done...
